Did you ever own a letter jacket in high school? For those who did, there was this feeling of representing your school. You had your school colors and you had your school song. You also lived in the same community and had this healthy pride for what your community stood for. In a similar way, being a follower of Jesus is like owning a letter jacket. You get to represent Jesus. You get to sing songs of victory and you get to experience the joy of knowing that one day we will be together in a kingdom that has no end. That’s the kingdom in which we represent. That’s the kingdom that we desire for others to share with us.
